The Bosch D9127U is a POPIT (Point of Protection Interface Transmitter) module designed for use with Bosch D9000-series fire alarm and security control panels. The D9127U acts as a supervised point expansion module, allowing conventional detection devices — smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, and other normally-open or normally-closed contact devices — to be connected to Bosch addressable systems.
Installing the D9127U is a cost-effective way to expand the point capacity of an existing Bosch panel or to integrate legacy conventional devices into a Bosch addressable loop without replacing the detection hardware. It provides end-of-line resistor supervision, tamper detection, and continuous status reporting back to the D9000-series panel.
