The Edwards EST 2251FB is an intelligent plug-in photoelectric smoke detector designed for legacy Edwards Signature Series fire alarm systems. The 2251FB connects to Signature Loop Controller (SLC) circuits and provides individual device addressability, allowing the fire alarm control panel to identify, monitor, and report on each detector independently.
As an earlier-generation Signature Series detector, the 2251FB is a direct predecessor to the current SIGA-PS photoelectric head.
