The Simplex 2098-9652 is a MAPNET II addressable smoke detector base designed for legacy Simplex fire alarm systems. It communicates over a single wire pair — the base and detector head draw both power and data from the MAPNET II loop. The 2098-9652 features an integrated alarm LED and uses DIP switches for address assignment, supporting up to 127 bases per circuit on 4020/4100+ panels (128 on CDT systems). This is a reconditioned unit with a one-year warranty.
