Fire-Lite addressable detection is built around a rich ecosystem of compatible detectors, module types, and mounting bases. Understanding which devices work together — and which replacement parts to stock — is essential for anyone maintaining a Fire-Lite LiteSpeed addressable system. This guide covers the most common addressable detectors, the MMF/CMF/IMF module family, and the compatible detector bases.
Fire-Lite Addressable Smoke Detectors
SD355 & SD365 Series Detectors
The SD355 and SD365 are Fire-Lite’s flagship addressable photoelectric smoke detectors. The SD365 features a low-profile design and is LiteSpeed protocol-only, while the SD365T adds an integrated thermal sensor for dual-criteria detection. The SD365CO is a multi-criteria detector combining photoelectric, thermal, infrared, and carbon monoxide sensing in a single head.
For replacement applications, the SD365R and SD365R-IV (ivory) are drop-in replacements for compatible existing bases. The SD365T-IV provides the same dual-criteria detection in an ivory finish for aesthetic-sensitive installations.
Wireless Detectors
The W-SD355 and W-SD355T wireless photoelectric smoke detectors connect to a Fire-Lite system via the W-GATE wireless SWIFT gateway, which supports up to 48 wireless devices per gateway and connects to the panel’s SLC loop. No additional wiring required — ideal for retrofit and historic building applications.
Fire-Lite Addressable Modules — MMF-300, CMF-300 & More
MMF-300 Monitor Module Family
The MMF-300 is the standard addressable monitor module, providing one Style B (Class B) initiating device circuit for monitoring compatible 2-wire smoke detectors, heat detectors, or contact devices. The MMF-301 is a miniature version for space-constrained installations. The MMF-302 expands to a 6-input (Class B) or 3-input (Class A) configuration, and the MMF-300-10 provides a 10-input card format for high-density monitoring applications.
CMF-300 Control Module Family
The CMF-300 addressable control module supervises one Style Y (Class B) or Style Z (Class A) notification appliance circuit — used to control horns, strobes, and speakers. The CMF-300-6 provides 6 NAC outputs in a single module. These are among the most commonly replaced modules in Fire-Lite systems.
CRF-300 Relay & CDRM-300 Dual Relay/Monitor
The CRF-300 provides built-in Form-C relay contacts for controlling HVAC, elevator recall, and other building systems. The CRF-300-6 offers 6 Form-C relays in a single device. The CDRM-300 combines two relay control circuits and two Class B monitor circuits in one addressable module.
Compatible Detector Bases
Choosing the correct base is critical for proper detector operation. Fire-Lite addressable detectors are compatible with the following bases:
- B300 — Standard 6″ addressable base for SD355/SD365 series detectors
- B200S — Standard base with sounder for combination detection/notification
- B210W — Wireless detector base with built-in magnet for W-SD355 and W-H355R wireless devices
- B114LP (System Sensor) — 6″ 4-wire relay base, compatible with Fire-Lite addressable heads
I-300 Isolator Module
For Style 7 (Class A) SLC loop configurations, the I-300 isolator module is required between each device group to contain short-circuit faults and prevent them from disabling the entire loop. Stocking spare I-300 modules is strongly recommended for any Class A Fire-Lite system.
