The Silent Knight 006808 is an intelligent addressable Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) for commercial buildings. It directly replaces the legacy Silent Knight 5808 panel. Therefore, it suits offices, schools, healthcare campuses, and industrial sites that need reliable fire detection.
Silent Knight 006808 system capacity
First, the panel provides one intelligent Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) loop. This single loop supports 198 addressable points. Specifically, it connects 99 System Sensor SK detectors plus 99 SK modules. Alternatively, the loop supports 127 Hochiki SD devices. However, SK and SD devices cannot be mixed on one system. In addition, the panel offers 250 software zones and 250 output groups for flexible design.
Outputs, communication, and networking
The 006808 includes four onboard output circuits. Each circuit delivers up to 3 amps, and total output cannot exceed 6 amps. As a result, you can set them as notification outputs or auxiliary power. Furthermore, a built-in dual-line digital alarm communicator/transmitter (DACT) reports over IP and POTS phone lines. Optional cellular reporting is also available. Finally, up to 17 panels link over copper or fiber for single-point communication.
