The Edwards 3-RCC14R is the EST3 Remote Closet Cabinet sized for two chassis spaces. First, it provides a surface-mount red enclosure for installing EST3 control electronics in electrical or telecom closets. In addition, the cabinet ships as wallbox and door together — not separately like the lobby 3-CAB series.
Construction is heavy steel with a red baked enamel finish. The cabinet uses a left-hand-hinged door without a viewing window. As a result, it is intended for back-of-house installs where esthetics are not paramount.

Optional display behind the door
The 3-RCC family supports optional display modules behind the front door for diagnostics. However, those display modules are not visible with the door closed. Therefore, the 3-RCC suits installs where day-to-day operator access happens at a remote 3-ANN-series annunciator instead of the cabinet itself.

The cabinet is a passive sheet-metal enclosure. As a result, the wallbox and door carry no standalone agency listing. However, the assembled EST3 system is UL 864 listed (Control Units and Accessories for Fire Alarm Systems) per Edwards datasheet, alongside ULC-S527 and additional categories.
