The Simplex 4100-6033 is a relay card for Simplex 4100-series fire alarm panels. Specifically, it provides three Form C relays. As a result, the panel can control external devices such as fans and doors.
Simplex 4100-6033 Relay Card Features
Each relay offers a Form C contact arrangement. In other words, you get both normally open and normally closed dry contacts. Therefore, the card suits a wide range of control functions.
The relay contacts switch up to 2 A at 32 VDC resistive. The card also handles 2 A at 30 VAC resistive. However, these control outputs are unsupervised.
Typical Applications
Installers use this card for common control tasks. For example, it can release door holders or shut down HVAC fans. Then the building responds automatically during an alarm.
