The Simplex 4100-6034 tamper switch monitors the door or dress panel of a Simplex fire alarm control panel. Notably, it includes a built-in addressable IDNet IAM. As a result, the panel reports any tamper condition over the IDNet loop.
How the Simplex 4100-6034 Tamper Switch Works
The switch mounts inside the cabinet. Then it detects when the solid door or dress panel opens. However, it does not monitor the glass door directly.
The built-in IDNet IAM reports the switch state to the panel. Furthermore, you can program that report as a Trouble or as a Priority 2 Alarm. Therefore, the response fits your site’s needs.
