The Notifier 75565 ribbon cable connects LCM-320 and LEM-320 loop control modules inside an NFS-3030 or NFS2-3030 panel. First, it carries SLC signaling between paired modules. As a result, each LCM-320 can expand into a second loop with an LEM-320 on the same cable.
How the Notifier 75565 ribbon cable is used
Each NFS2-3030 or NFS-3030 panel supports up to 10 SLC loops using pairs of LCM-320/LEM-320. Specifically, the 75565 cable joins each module pair. In addition, the cable seats into factory ribbon headers on both boards.
Where it fits in the panel
The cable is a Notifier factory part for use only inside compatible CPU2-3030/3030 cabinets. Also, it is supplied as a direct-replacement interconnect during system expansion. Therefore, no field splicing or termination is required.
