The Edwards 965-8A-4RW is a 4-inch round white ceiling speaker-strobe. Specifically, it combines a 70 Vrms speaker with a 110 cd visual signal. As a result, one appliance handles both voice evacuation and high-output visual notification.
This device belongs to the Edwards EST 964/965 Series. Therefore it is compatible with EST3, EST3X, iO64, iO500, and QuickStart fire alarm panels. Furthermore, the 70 Vrms speaker tap supports Genesis-pattern audio distribution.
Edwards 965-8A-4RW Strobe Output

Also, pair the unit with the 960A-4RF round flush back box for new construction or the 960A-4RS surface box for retrofit. Specifically, the round 4-inch baffle suits ceilings where a low-profile appliance is preferred.
