The Notifier ABS-1B is a black surface-mount backbox for one ACS Series annunciator module. First, it mounts the annunciator directly to the box without a separate dress plate. As a result, install is straightforward where flush mounting is not practical.
What the Notifier ABS-1B is for
The ABS-1B holds a single ACM-24AT, ACM-48A, or AEM expander module. Specifically, it suits remote annunciator drops in corridors, lobbies, and fire command rooms. In addition, 1/2″ conduit knockouts simplify wiring entry.
Important compatibility note
The ABS-1B does not support the AKS-1B Annunciator Key Switch. Therefore, choose the deeper ABS-1TB if a key switch is required. Also, the ABS-1B pairs with NFS2-3030, NFS2-640, NFS-320, NCA-2, and legacy AM2020/AFP1010 panels.
