The Notifier ACT-70 is an audio coupling transformer for 70.7 VRMS audio risers. First, it steps high-level 70 V audio down to low level for downstream amplifiers. As a result, large Notifier voice systems can drive many cabinets of amplifiers from a single source.
What the Notifier ACT-70 is for
The ACT-70 isolates and converts high-level 70 V audio to low-level audio. Specifically, it is paired with AA-30 or DAA2-series amplifiers in large distributed-audio jobs. In addition, it supports scaling up to thousands of amplifiers across a campus install.
Where the ACT-70 fits in a system
The ACT-70 sits between an upstream 70 V audio source and a bank of downstream amplifier inputs. Therefore, it provides the level translation and isolation that DAA2-5070, DAX-3570, DAX-5070, and legacy DAA-5070 amplifiers expect. Also, the matching ACT-25 handles 25 V high-level audio applications.
