The POTTER AE-2 is a two-card accessory expansion enclosure for Potter addressable fire alarm panels. It accommodates up to two standard-size PAD100-SLCE, RLY-5, or other stacker-bracket-sized expansion cards.
First, the AE-2 mounts to a wall using four #8-sized screws. Then expansion cards mount inside using #6-32 hex nuts. As a result, technicians can add SLC or relay capacity outside the main fire alarm control panel.
The enclosure is built from durable 18-gauge steel. In addition, its compact footprint suits installations with limited wall space. Specifically, the AE-2 measures 9 3/4″ wide by 8″ tall by 2 1/2″ deep.

When to Order the AE-2
Order the AE-2 when you need to add an SLC expander (PAD100-SLCE) or a 5-relay card (RLY-5) outside the main Potter panel. For larger expansions, Potter also offers the AE-8 (8 cards) and AE-14 (14 cards) enclosures.
