The Hochiki DCP-AMS is a single-action addressable manual pull station. An occupant initiates a fire alarm by pulling down on the handle.
First, the station communicates over Hochiki’s DCP protocol on the SLC loop. Then the address is programmable in onboard EEPROM. As a result, the panel identifies the exact pull-station location at activation.
Hochiki DCP-AMS Construction
The housing is made of 14 AWG cold-rolled steel painted with red enamel. In addition, the words “Fire Alarm” are embossed in 1/2″ tall contrasting-color text. Therefore the station meets standard wall-mount visibility requirements.
