The Hochiki DCP-AMS-LP is a dual-action addressable manual pull station. An occupant must lift the clear cover before pulling the handle to initiate an alarm.
First, the lift-and-pull design adds a deliberate two-step motion. Then the panel sees the activation over the DCP SLC. As a result, the DCP-AMS-LP cuts down on nuisance alarms in schools, hospitals, and public venues.
Hochiki DCP-AMS-LP Construction
The station is built from 14 AWG cold-rolled steel and painted with red enamel. In addition, the words “Fire Alarm” appear in contrasting-color embossed text 1/2″ tall. Therefore the station meets standard wall-mount visibility requirements.
