The Notifier DR-PS1 is the replacement door that mounts an ACPS-610(E) into an existing CAB-PS1 cabinet. Specifically, this wider door is required when retrofitting an older ACPS-2406 cabinet to the current ACPS-610(E) addressable charger-power supply.
Why a different door is needed for the ACPS-610(E) retrofit
First, the legacy CAB-PS1 was sized for the ACPS-2406 power supply. Then, Notifier released the wider ACPS-610(E) as the current product. As a result, the existing cabinet needs a new, wider door to clear the ACPS-610(E) faceplate.
In addition, the door preserves the cabinet shell and conduit work already in place. Therefore, the installer keeps the original CAB-PS1 in service without a full cabinet swap.
