The Ditek DTK-NETMS is a rapid-replacement plug-in module for the Ditek DTK-RM24NETS 24-channel rack-mount surge protector. Specifically, it protects one shielded Ethernet or PoE circuit. Furthermore, modules swap from the front of the rack. As a result, replacement after a strike is fast — no need to remove the rack housing.

First, the DTK-NETMS uses a hybrid SAD + GDT topology. Therefore, it clamps fast transients at the gas-discharge stage and the silicon avalanche diode stage together. In addition, the module handles all four pairs in a CAT5e, CAT6, or CAT6A cable. Specifically, the surge current rating is 20 kA per pair. As a result, the module supports up to 10 GbE without signal degradation.

Also, the DTK-NETMS is PoE compatible across the full IEEE PoE range. Specifically, that includes 802.3af (15.4 W), 802.3at (30 W), 802.3bt Type 3 (60 W), and 802.3bt Type 4 (100 W).
