The Edwards 4-2ANN is an Edwards LCD annunciator used to present remote status information from a compatible Edwards fire alarm control panel. As a result, building occupants and first responders see panel status without standing at the main FACP.
Specifically, the annunciator drives an LCD display for alarm, trouble, and supervisory events reported by the host panel. In addition, it is mounted in a location convenient for the AHJ — typically the main building entrance.
Where the Edwards 4-2ANN Is Installed
Remote annunciators are placed where responding personnel will find them first. First, fire-department personnel enter the building. Then, they read panel status from the annunciator at the entry. Therefore, response time to the active zone is reduced.
