Designed for use on Edwards EST fire alarm control panels supporting the Signature Series protocol, the SIGA-PD delivers precise analog sensing with continuous chamber value reporting, enabling the panel to make nuanced alarm decisions and reduce false activations.
Photoelectric technology makes the SIGA-PD particularly effective at detecting slow-smoldering fires — the type most common in commercial occupancies — which produce large smoke particles that scatter the detector’s infrared light beam before visible flames appear. The SIGA-PD mounts to any standard Signature Series detector base and is a direct replacement for aging detectors in EST Signature systems.
