The Eaton ELHSWC is a Wheelock Eluxa LED-platform horn-strobe. It is a ceiling-mount appliance with a white housing, FIRE lettering, and 24 VDC operation. The “HS” denotes horn-strobe combination.
First, the audible produces a fire alarm horn tone with three selectable patterns. Then, the LED strobe flashes once per second at a 20 ms pulse duration. As a result, the ELHSWC meets the 2016 NFPA 72 requirement to share a field of view with legacy xenon devices.

The ceiling-model strobe intensity is field selectable across six settings: 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, and 177 cd. In addition, the audible offers three patterns: Continuous, T3 (fire), and T3/T4 (fire + CO sync control). Therefore, one SKU covers a wide range of room sizes and dual fire/CO signaling needs.

Electrical and Synchronization
The ELHSWC operates from 16 to 33 VDC or VFWR (24 V only on horn-strobe models). Also, the strobe synchronizes via Wheelock DSM Sync Modules, PS Power Supplies, or SAFEPATH products using Wheelock’s patented sync protocol. Furthermore, the audible can be silenced while the strobe remains active when wired through a sync module.
Mounting and Listings
The ELHSWC ships with a hinged mounting plate. Specifically, ceiling mounting options include LSPKBB-C backboxes or 4-inch square boxes 1-1/2 inch or 2-1/8 inch deep. In addition, the appliance is listed under UL 1971, UL 1638, UL 464, CAN/ULC-S525, CAN/ULC-S526, CSFM, RoHS, and FCC Part 15.
Ceiling dimensions: 6.27 in diameter x 1.69 in D. Also, the UV-stabilized engineered-plastic housing exceeds UL 94V-0 flammability rating.
