The Silent Knight EVS-100WBU is a backup amplifier expander card for the EVS-100W remote amplifier. With this card installed, the amplifier runs 100 watts primary with 50 watts of backup. Therefore, voice messaging continues even if the primary amplifier section fails.
The EVS-100W amplifier is part of Silent Knight’s EVS emergency voice system family. That platform works with the 5820XL-EVS voice evacuation control panel. As a result, the EVS-100WBU adds amplifier redundancy to distributed EVS audio installations.
