Edwards G1AWF Genesis Temporal Horn — White FIRE-Marked

The Edwards G1AWF is a white-finish Genesis Series temporal horn carrying the FIRE marking. First, the device is audible only. It contains no strobe.

In addition, the temporal pattern complies with NFPA 72 fire alarm evacuation tone when the panel applies steady NAC voltage. As a result, the host control panel determines coded operation, not the appliance.

Agency listings

Per 85001-0573 Issue 9, the Genesis horn family carries UL 464, ULC S525, CSFM, CE, FCC, and MEA. However, UL 1971 (hearing-impaired strobe) does not apply to the G1AWF because the device has no strobe.

Compatible synchronization sources

For temporal-tone synchronization across multiple horns on a single NAC, the G1AWF works with the G1M, G1M-RM, SIGA-CC1S, SIGA-MCC1S, BPS6A, and BPS10A.

Choosing the right Genesis variant

First, select G1AWF (Edwards catalog G1F-HD) for white-finish FIRE-marked horn-only. Then, for combined audible-plus-visual notification, use G1F-HDVM (multi-cd horn-strobe). Furthermore, use G1F-P for steady-tone (non-temporal) applications.
