Edwards G1RT Genesis Trim Plate — Red, Blank
The Edwards G1RT is a red-finish Genesis Series trim plate. First, the plate covers oversized electrical-box openings behind a red Genesis horn, strobe, horn-strobe, chime, or chime-strobe appliance.
In addition, the plate is purely mechanical. As a result, the G1RT carries no standalone UL listing or electrical specification.
Verified application
- Designed for oversized openings: two-gang, four-inch square, four-inch octagonal, or European 100 mm square electrical boxes
- Not required for standard 1-gang installs — the appliance mounts directly to a 1-gang box
- Compatible with the full Genesis Series red-finish family: G1R, G1RF horn / strobe / horn-strobe / chime / chime-strobe variants
- Material: textured engineered plastic, red finish, blank face (no marking)
- Dimensions: 5″ (127 mm) wide x 5-7/8″ (149 mm) high x 1/2″ (13 mm) deep

Choosing the right trim plate
First, select G1RT for blank red finish. Then, choose G1RT-FIRE for red with the FIRE marking. Furthermore, the white counterparts are G1T (blank) and G1T-FIRE (with FIRE marking).
