The Gamewell GF510 is the Flex 510 ten-zone conventional fire alarm control panel. First, it provides reliable fire signaling for medium-sized commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. In addition, it combines panel control and a built-in digital alarm communicator/transmitter (DACT) in one cabinet. As a result, sites do not need a separate DACT for central station reporting.
Gamewell GF510 panel features
The Flex 510 includes ten programmable Class B (Style B) Initiating Device Circuits. Each IDC is compatible with two-wire smokes, four-wire smokes, pull stations, water flow, tamper, and normally-open contacts. Also, System Sensor i3 Series detectors are supported on the conventional loops.
Furthermore, the panel provides four Class B (Style Y) Notification Appliance Circuits. The NACs are programmable for ADA-compliant strobe sync, selective silence, temporal or steady signal, and auto-silence with silence inhibit. In addition, three programmable Form-C relays come factory-set for Alarm, Trouble, and Supervisory.
Programming and options
Field programming happens at the built-in keypad. Therefore, no special software or extra equipment is required. Two password-protected programming levels protect the configuration. The 80-character backlit LCD displays status at a high viewing angle.
For Class A wiring, the optional CAC-5X converter module upgrades NACs and IDCs to Class A. Also, the optional 4XTMF transmitter module adds municipal box service and reverse polarity output.

The Flex 510 is discontinued at Gamewell-FCI. However, Life Safety Consultants still stocks the GF510 for legacy service replacement. Therefore, sites running a Flex 510 can keep the existing programming and wiring rather than re-engineering the panel.
