The Simplex GSA4098-9733 is a TrueAlarm analog addressable heat sensor. It monitors temperature for commercial fire alarm systems. Specifically, it reports live temperature readings to the fire alarm control panel.
Because the sensor is analog, the panel applies the alarm thresholds in software. As a result, the system can combine fixed-temperature and rate-of-rise detection. In addition, the sensor self-restores once temperatures return to normal.
