System Sensor HCWL-LF Low Frequency Sounder — Ceiling, White
The System Sensor HCWL-LF is a ceiling-mount low frequency sounder for fire alarm notification. First, it produces a 520 Hz square-wave tone. As a result, it meets the low frequency requirement for sleeping areas. This sounder is audible only and does not include a strobe.
Why specify the System Sensor HCWL-LF
Low frequency sound wakes sleeping occupants more effectively than standard tones. Therefore, codes call for 520 Hz signaling in many sleeping rooms. In addition, the ceiling mount and white finish blend into dwelling units, hotels, and dorms. The HCWL-LF connects to a standard notification appliance circuit (NAC) at 24 volts.
Installers can also select among low frequency tone patterns. Furthermore, the sounder synchronizes with other System Sensor devices through a compatible panel or sync module. Finally, the HCWL-LF is listed to UL 464 for audible signaling appliances.
