The KIDDE COMMERCIAL EG4VRF is a wall-mount Genesis LED EG4 Series strobe. Specifically, it ships with a red housing and the “FIRE” marking.
First, the EG4VRF mounts to the included GP10 (or GRSW-10) room-side wiring plate. Then, the appliance snaps into the plate, simplifying pre-install and pre-wire. Furthermore, a diagnostics check bar verifies electrical continuity before the cover goes on.
In addition, candela output is field-selectable at 15, 30, 75, or 110 cd. Therefore, one part number covers a range of room sizes by sliding the on-cover candela switch.

Approved Synchronization Sources

Mounting and Trim
The EG4 family fits 1-gang, 2-gang, 3.5-inch octagon, and 4-inch square boxes at least 1.5 in deep. Furthermore, optional EG4TR (red) and EG4TW (white) trim plates cover oversized openings. Also, EG4RSB (red) and EG4WSB (white) wall surface-mount boxes are available.
