System Sensor LENS-R3 Red LED Lens — Wall/Ceiling
The System Sensor LENS-R3 is a red lens attachment for L-Series LED strobes. First, it fits over the strobe to produce red light output. As a result, the appliance signals in red instead of clear. It mounts on both wall and ceiling LED strobes.
How to use the System Sensor LENS-R3
Color lenses serve non-fire signaling, so use the LENS-R3 only on devices marked for non-fire use. In addition, the red lens reduces effective strobe output by about 65 percent. Therefore, plan candela coverage with that light loss in mind. Furthermore, the lens adds roughly 0.125 inch (3.2 mm) to the appliance depth.
The LENS-R3 belongs to the L-Series LED color lens family, alongside amber, blue, and green options. Finally, confirm the host strobe model and required candela before installation.
