Installation notes
First, mount the MS-KA/R on a standard single-gang electrical backbox at the remote location. Then, run wiring from the host duct detector’s remote terminal block to the MS-KA/R. Follow the host detector’s install instructions for terminal-by-terminal pinout. Furthermore, verify the alarm LED lights when the duct detector senses smoke. Finally, confirm the key-operated test and reset functions act on the host detector.
