The Notifier RPT-F is a network fiber-optic repeater for NOTI•FIRE•NET fire alarm networks. First, it regenerates network signals over fiber. As a result, installers can extend transmission distance between Notifier panels. In addition, it can convert media type between copper wire and fiber.
How the Notifier RPT-F fiber repeater works
The RPT-F is a single PC board mounted in a compatible enclosure. Specifically, it transmits at 312,500 bits per second using ST-style fiber connectors. Furthermore, the unit accepts both 62.5/125 µm and 50/125 µm multimode fiber.
