The Notifier TM-8 is a transmitter module with eight programmable Form-C relays. It is built on a single PC board. Therefore, it adds flexible output control to a compatible Notifier panel.
The TM-8 also provides remote station service. Specifically, it offers three reverse-polarity outputs for alarm, trouble, and supervisory signals. Alternatively, it can drive one municipal box trip.
How the Notifier TM-8 Is Used
First, you program each of the eight Form-C relays for a system function. Then the panel activates those relays on the events you assign. As a result, you gain dedicated outputs without extra modules.
The TM-8 meets NFPA 72 requirements. Specifically, it supports auxiliary and remote station protective signaling systems. Therefore, it suits installations that report off-site.
