The Vesda OSE-HPW is an OSID emitter, high power, wired for 24VDC operation. OSID is Xtralis open-area smoke imaging detection. The emitter projects coded light beams toward an OSID imager across an open space. As a result, the imager detects smoke crossing the beams.
Vesda OSE-HPW emitter overview
OSID uses dual-wavelength infrared and ultraviolet light beams. First, the emitter sends these coded beams across the protected area. Then the imager analyzes the received light for smoke. Therefore, the system resists false alarms and eases alignment.
High power wired version
This high-power emitter suits longer ranges and larger open areas. Also, the wired version draws 24VDC from the installation. In addition, it pairs with a compatible OSID imager to form a detection link. This listing covers the OSE-HPW high-power wired emitter.
