The SigCom VECP-25 is a 25 Watt voice evacuation control panel, not a speaker. It adds voice evacuation capability to an existing fire alarm system without replacing the FACP. In other words, it connects directly to any addressable or conventional panel. Activation comes from a 24 VDC polarity-reversing NAC circuit or a supervised dry contact.
A built-in digital message unit provides 60 seconds of pre-recorded voice messaging. It includes two standard voice messages and four field-selectable alert tones. In addition, a supervised integral microphone allows live paging that overrides recorded messages. An optional DVS-RM/B supervised remote microphone is also available.
SigCom VECP-25 Speaker Circuits and Power
The high-efficiency Class D amplifier delivers 25 Watts of total output. It drives four supervised speaker circuits, wired Class A (Style Z) or Class B (Style Y). Furthermore, loop voltage is field-selectable between 25 and 70.7 Vrms. Digital signal meters display the power and voltage output on the speaker circuits. Common alarm and trouble Form-C relays signal external equipment.
