The Simplex 2099-9755 is a single-action, non-coded, non-addressable manual fire alarm pull station. It is designed for general-purpose conventional fire alarm applications.
First, an alarm activates with a single downward pull on the lever. Then the lever protrudes from the station face. As a result, responding personnel can see at a glance which station was activated.
How the Simplex 2099-9755 Operates
The pull station operates in compliance with ADA requirements. In addition, a break-rod is supplied for sites that require one; the break-rod is optional. Therefore, installers can configure the station to suit local AHJ preferences.
Reset and Security
The station includes a tamper-resistant reset key lock. Also, the lock is keyed the same as Simplex fire alarm cabinets, so existing site keys work for reset.
Wiring and Mounting
The station has screw terminals for wiring connections. For semi-flush mount, use a standard single-gang switch box, 2-1/5 in. (64 mm) deep. Alternatively, surface mount on a Wiremold V5744S box measuring 4-5/8 in. H x 2-7/8 in. W x 2-1/4 in. D (117 mm x 73 mm x 57 mm).
