The Simplex 4007-9801 is an Eight Point Zone/Relay Module for the Simplex 4007ES hybrid fire alarm control panel. Each of the eight points is selectable as either an IDC input or a relay output.
First, the technician configures each point in the 4007ES programmer. Then the module reports IDC alarms and trouble back to the panel. In addition, it drives configured outputs from the same eight-point pool. As a result, one module covers both initiating and notification needs in compact panels.

Typical Applications
Specifically, the 4007-9801 is used to expand a 4007ES panel with conventional zones, auxiliary relay outputs, or a mix of both. Therefore, it is the standard module for upfitting a 4007ES with additional initiating circuits or for adding HVAC shutdown, door release, and similar auxiliary outputs.
