The Simplex 4090-9807 is a surface-mount trim plate for the 4090-9001 Supervised IAM. First, it caps the single-gang surface box. Then, the plate protects the field wiring and seats the module flush to the wall. As a result, the IAM presents cleanly on exposed-conduit installs.
Simplex 4090-9807 Mounting and Compatibility
Use the 4090-9807 with the 4090-9810 mounting bracket and the 4090-9001 IAM. Specifically, the bracket fastens the IAM to the surface box and accepts the trim plate. In addition, the cover suits IDNet and MAPNET II addressable communication loops. Furthermore, mounting hardware ships in the box.
Construction
The plate is galvanized steel and ships at about 0.2 lb (0.09 kg). Also, the surface profile fits a standard single-gang box. Therefore, it pairs well with surface raceways in mechanical rooms and back-of-house spaces.
