The Simplex 4098-9784 (catalog number 0677052) is a 4-inch TrueAlarm addressable sensor base for use with Simplex IDNet and MAPNET II addressable fire alarm systems. The 4098-9784 base contains integral addressable electronics that digitize each sensor’s output and transmit status to the host fire alarm control panel every four seconds via two-wire communications. The DIP-switch address is front-accessible under the detachable sensor, allowing address programming to remain with the mounting location. The locking anti-tamper design mounts on a standard 4″ octagonal or 4″ square electrical box (minimum 1-1/2″ depth).
