The Simplex 2098-9637 is a reconditioned 2-wire relay base for Simplex fire detection heads. First, the base provides a mechanical mount for compatible Simplex detector heads. Then, an integrated Form-C relay activates when the host detector goes into alarm.
Installers use the integrated relay for auxiliary functions such as door release, fan shutdown, or local indicator activation. As a result, the relay base eliminates the need for a separate output module at that detector location.

- Compatible Simplex detector heads include the 2098-9201, 2098-9202, 2098-9203, 2098-9208, 2098-9544, and 2098-9576
