The Simplex 4098-9798 is an SSD sounder base with an integrated CO module. It supports IDNet addressable fire alarm systems. First, it mounts a standard TrueAlarm smoke sensor. In addition, it adds audible sounder output and carbon monoxide monitoring at the same base.
Simplex 4098-9798 panel compatibility
This base works with several Simplex panels. Specifically, it fits the 4100ES, 4010ES, and 4100U. However, it requires IDNet software revision 12.05 or higher. Please note one update. These panels and CO sensors have since moved to 10-year-life CO sensors in current production.
