The Simplex 4100-7158 is a master controller CPU card with an Ethernet connection upgrade kit. First, it replaces or upgrades the master controller in a Simplex 4100-series panel. Then its on-board Ethernet port adds fast external system communication. As a result, installation and service activity move more quickly.

The card includes dedicated compact flash memory for on-site archiving. Specifically, it stores the panel’s electronic job configuration files securely. In addition, the Ethernet port supports network connection to the system. Therefore technicians gain a direct path for configuration and diagnostics.
This is an upgrade kit, so the door assembly is not included. Specifically, the LCD and user interface are supplied separately. However, the kit fits a 4100U with or without an operator interface. Also, it supports a 4100+ without LCD, or an existing 4100 already upgraded to a 4100U master controller.
Compatibility
The 4100-7158 works with Simplex 4100U, 4100+, and qualifying upgraded 4100 panels. Confirm the current panel build and interface before ordering.
