The Simplex 4605-7401 is a 24-point programmable input/output module. It also carries the board number 565-802. First, it installs in the Simplex 4010 addressable fire alarm control panel. As a result, it expands the panel’s input and output capacity.
How the Simplex 4605-7401 works
Each of the 24 points is individually selectable. Therefore, you can set any point as an input or an output. Four input types are supported. Specifically, these are unsupervised switch, supervised for open, supervised for open or short, and monitored three-position H.O.A.
Outputs are rated 24 V at 75 mA each. In addition, total output is capped at 1.8 A at 32 VDC. Also, each output is selectable for continuous on, slow flash, or fast flash.
