The Simplex DHSBPC is the replacement door holder armature assembly — the catch plate and base unit that mates to Simplex electromagnetic door holder magnets. When the fire alarm control panel deenergizes the door holder circuit, low residual magnetism in the DHSBPC armature allows even low-pressure door closers to release cleanly, letting fire doors close without obstruction. The DHSBPC body is die-cast metal with a double chrome-plated finish; textured decorative surfaces resist fingerprints in visible installations. Dimensions are 2″ × 2″ × 2″; weight 0.25 lbs.
