The System Sensor SPSCRV is a high-volume red ceiling speaker strobe for fire alarm systems. First, it combines loud evacuation audio with a synchronized strobe. Specifically, the “V” suffix marks a high-decibel speaker. As a result, it suits noisy commercial and industrial spaces.
System Sensor SPSCRV features
This SpectrAlert Advance device uses a dual-voltage transformer speaker. Therefore, it operates at either 25 or 70.7 Vrms. In addition, a rotary switch sets the power tap from 1/4 to 2 watts. The frequency range spans 400 to 4,000 Hz. Also, the strobe flashes once per second.
At 2 watts, the SPSCRV reaches 89 dBA at 10 feet. Lower taps measure 86, 83, and 80 dBA. Furthermore, standard candela settings are 15, 15/75, 30, 75, 95, 110, and 115. However, current draw varies by candela.
