The System Sensor B501-WH is a 4-inch flangeless detector base in white. It is one of the most widely specified bases in conventional fire alarm installations in North America. As a result, it is a common stocking item for fire alarm contractors and distributors.
The B501-WH provides a clean, low-profile mounting platform for compatible System Sensor detector heads. Therefore, finished ceilings stay visually tidy without the protruding flange of a standard base. In addition, the white finish blends with most ceiling materials.
