The System Sensor D4S is the 4-wire photoelectric sensor component for the InnovairFlex duct smoke detector line. Note that this is the sensor only. It works with the InnovairFlex 4-wire power board rather than as a standalone detector.
The D4120 duct detector’s power board offers 2:1 sensor-to-power capability. Therefore, one D4120 can monitor a second D4S sensor simultaneously — for example, supply and return sides of the same air handler. This saves hardware and wiring on multi-point duct detection jobs.

How the D4S Fits the InnovairFlex System
InnovairFlex detectors interconnect for multi-fan shutdown — up to 50 units. When one unit senses smoke, all interconnected detectors switch their relays. However, only the sensing detector goes into alarm, which pinpoints the source. Remote accessories include the RTS151 and RTS151KEY test stations and the RA100Z annunciator.
