The Fire-Lite W-SD355T is an intelligent wireless photo/thermal smoke detector. It combines a photoelectric chamber with a 135°F fixed-temperature heat sensor. Furthermore, it communicates across a SWIFT Class A wireless mesh network. As a result, dual-criteria sensing improves detection while reducing nuisance alarms.

Fire-Lite W-SD355T wireless operation

This detector connects to the panel through a W-GATE gateway. In addition, the SWIFT mesh operates in the 902 to 928 MHz band. The network uses frequency hopping for reliable communication. Also, each device keeps two communication parents for path redundancy.

First, install a W-GATE gateway for the mesh. Then enroll the detector using the SWIFT Tools utility. The detector works with compatible panels, including the MS-9200UDLS, MS-9600(UD)LS, ES-50X, and ES-200X. Therefore, it adds dual-criteria wireless detection to Fire-Lite systems.
