The Edwards 1076CW-M is a recessed wide-gap door contact. It measures 3/4 inch in diameter for a flush, drilled-in fit. Also, it carries a brown finish.
First, you recess the contact into the door frame. Then, its matching magnet mounts on the door. As a result, the switch senses whether the door is open or closed.

This contact uses an SPDT (Form C) switch configuration. Therefore, it supports normally open and normally closed wiring. In addition, the wide-gap design tolerates larger door-to-frame gaps than standard contacts.
The steel body adds durability for the recessed install. However, always verify the gap and diameter against your opening before drilling.
