The Simplex 2099-9767 is a single-action intrinsically safe manual pull station. It is built for hazardous-location fire alarm circuits where standard pull stations cannot be used.
First, intrinsic safety limits the electrical energy available at the device. Then, that low energy keeps the contact from igniting flammable gas, vapor, or dust in the protected area. As a result, the station can be installed inside classified hazardous areas with a properly designed circuit.
Where the Simplex 2099-9767 is used
Typical applications include refineries, petrochemical processing, paint booths, fuel handling, and similar classified locations. In addition, the station supports indoor and outdoor mounting depending on the host conduit and enclosure design.

Installation notes
