The Edwards 3-SDDC2 is a Signature dual driver controller for EST3 life safety systems. It drives two Signature device loops from a single module. As a result, it manages a large count of addressable detectors and modules.

Edwards 3-SDDC2 capabilities

Each controller supports two loops of Signature series devices. In addition, every loop addresses up to 250 detectors and up to 250 modules. The module also supports one User Interface Module for local control.

The 3-SDDC2 mounts to the local rail. Furthermore, it occupies just one LRM space. Therefore it adds loop capacity without consuming excess cabinet room. This makes it well suited to both new installs and retrofits.
