The Edwards 4-NET-TP-HC is a twisted pair SFP network controller for the EST4 platform. It links a panel to the EST4 network over twisted-pair wiring. As a result, panels share data across a networked fire alarm system.
The controller uses a small form-factor pluggable (SFP) interface. In addition, it communicates at a 0.3 Mbps data rate. Therefore, it suits standard twisted-pair network runs between EST4 nodes.
